On 26th September 2018 Microsoft will no longer be supporting multiple Yammer networks that are associated with a single Office 365 tenancy. This means that all subsidiary networks will have their user accounts automatically migrated to the primary Yammer network (ed.ac.uk). A targeted email has been sent to all affected users and an "All Company" messages has been posted within each of the affected subsidiary networks. No data can be moved as part of this migration which includes any messages or files. When the migration has taken place none of these messages will be accessible. This change will ensure that all Yammer users are within the correct Yammer network associated with our Office 365 tenancy. No action is required from affected users since the user accounts will be migrated automatically logged into the correct network (ed.ac.uk). Yammer is a self-help based application that is limited to “out of the box” features. Current functionality and any standard changes imposed on the University that Microsoft release for Yammer are not supported. Please direct any queries to Service.Management@ed.ac.uk. Planned
