We ask that each wiki space has an owner who will take responsibility for the administration of the wiki and all content within it. By requesting this wiki you are agreeing to take on that role.
If you are a student, you will need to supply details of a member of staff who can authorise your wiki request. This might be an academic supervisor, or a member of administrative staff for example.
Let us know what you want your wiki to be called and give us some further details about what you plan to use it for. This information is used in the Wiki Catalogue and will also help us better understand what the service is being used for.

How visible should your wiki be to other people?
Private: Only the people I allow should have access to read or change content
University: Only the people I allow should have access to change content, but anyone in the University can read the content
Public: Only the people I allow should have access to change content, but anyone in the world can read the content
The Wiki Catalogue is a list of all the wikis that exist on the central service, what they're used for, and the main contact details
Please note that as a wiki space owner, you will be added to the wiki mailing list which will be used (once integrated with the IS Alerts system) for the purpose of communications around service downtime and any maintenance work and enhancements planned for the service.
